    NAVIGATING LIFE’S WAVES

Life can be filled with challenges and obstacles. Life also holds beauty and magic. Sometimes it’s hard to navigate through the ups and downs of being a human. In a world that is consumed with comparison, it’s easy to lose esteem and doubt how special you are. If you are feeling stressed, down, overwhelmed with emotions, or anxious you are not alone, and it doesn’t have to be that way forever.

    GUIDE TO THRIVE

I have experience working with clients of all ages, but I have found that working with adolescents and young adults holds a special place in my heart. This stage of life is hard! Teens have one foot rooted in their childhood and the other reaching for independence. Young adults face various obstacles as they are navigating a world through new eyes. Each stage presents its own challenges. You deserve to thrive in your life and not just survive.

    A HEALING HAND

The core of my approach to therapy starts with the therapeutic relationship where I will meet you with non-judgmental, positive regard. There are many messages and a lot of information out there on what to do to feel better and optimize your life. It’s hard to sift through all of that and I want to help you discover and develop the skills that are unique and effective for you. My job is to help you find internal peace and build the confidence that you can get through whatever life throws at you, at this stage of life and beyond. You are the greatest source of healing and I want to help you access that internal resource.

     ABOUT ME

I graduated from Boston College with a Master’s in Social Work. Through graduate school, I have worked with adolescents in various settings from employment preparation programs to outpatient therapy to partial hospitalization addiction treatment.

Before graduate school, I studied two of my passions, Psychology and Dance. The integration of the two has shown me the healing powers of movement and the importance of our relationship with our bodies. Based on those experiences, I incorporate the connection among the mind, body, and spirit through my work.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, and trying new food! I have danced for most of my life and love continuing my passion for movement through teaching dance classes and developing choreography.
