Please Note: We currently accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, and Tufts. Couples counseling is not covered by insurance.
We are able to provide out of network services for other insurance companies. Please call your insurance company and ask them if you have out of network benefits. If you do have out of network benefits, please ask the following questions:
- Do I have a deductible to meet first?
- Is my deductible separate from my in-network deductible? If so, how much is it?
- When does the policy renew (often policies renew on either January 1 of July 1 of each year)
We will be able to provide you with a receipt at the end of your session containing the necessary information you will need to be reimbursed by your insurance company. All fees, including co-payments and co-insurances, are due at the time of service. Please be advised that using your insurance may compromise your confidentiality, as your therapist must issue a diagnosis in order for your treatment to be covered by your insurance. Please discuss this with us prior to your first appointment if you have concerns.
If paying privately, our fees are $125 per hour for individuals and $150 per hour for couples, payable at the time of the session. We accept cash, checks, credit cards and flex spending / HSA accounts. We do not want to turn anyone away due to financial constraints, however. Please speak with your therapist regarding a reduced fee, if needed (documentation may be required).
Your appointment is reserved just for you. We are not able to bill insurance for missed appointments. Women’s Counseling of Nashua, LLC, requires a 24 hour notification to cancel an appointment, so that we may offer that time to someone else. We charge $100 for a missed appointment or for a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice. We do keep a credit card on file and your card will be billed automatically should you miss an appointment.
