    Approach

I seek to meet clients with humility, warmth, and humor. I take a collaborative and exploratory stance with clients, as we get to know each other, share therapeutic space focused on you, problem solve together, and make the adjustments you’re looking for in your life. I want to see all of my clients become the most authentic version of themselves that they can be. I utilize a number of different therapeutic modalities including DBT, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy. I serve clients with trauma using EMDR and IFS-informed/parts work techniques.

    Clinical Interests

I am a queer-identifying and queer-affirming therapist interested in providing clients with skills, knowledge, and a comfortable space in which to grow. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents (15+) of all genders. I treat a variety of things that bring folks to therapy, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, life transitions/development, neurodivergence, present and past relationship challenges, menstrual issues like PMDD, and issues related to LGBTQ+ identity. I am always learning, currently seeking to expand my knowledge about aromantic/asexual identity and OCD. If you’re interested in gaining insight about how your identities and experiences past and present continue to affect your internal and external life, as well as moving forward from the ways these things hold you back, reach out to me!

    About Me

I graduated from Boston University with my Master’s in Social Work in 2021, and received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brandeis University prior. I have worked for several years in outpatient therapy. Before that, I worked in residential substance use treatment for pregnant and parenting mothers, a primary-care/substance use clinic, and a partial hospitalization in the Boston area serving LGBTQ+ adults with acute mental health needs. I have volunteered with community organizations supporting LGBTQ+ folks and their families for years, and intend to continue this work in multiple capacities. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy many different kinds of music, various means of artistic self-expression including dance and fashion, acting with local theater groups, watching cartoons, and spending time at home with my partner and dog.
