Kaley Michaels, MS
My name’s Kaley, and I’m working as a clinical intern while finishing the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s degree program at Plymouth State University. I have experience working in inpatient and outpatient positions in a community mental health setting, and I’m excited to transition into this role.
The mind has a tremendous capacity to heal, change, and grow. Through the therapeutic relationship, we will work together to create an open and trusting alliance where healing can occur. I’m inspired by trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and feminist approaches. I’m committed to the theory of cultural humility and value the diverse and intersectional identities of each of my clients. I’m curious to know more about you and the unique landscape of your inner world. I am open to working with clients in all walks of life.
In my free time I recharge by practicing yoga, participating in book clubs, and spending time outdoors kayaking, hiking, and camping!
