Kaley Michaels, MS
(She/Her)
Hi, I’m Kaley (she/her)
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor here at Women’s Counseling of Nashua. I believe our mind has a tremendous capacity to heal, change, and grow. Through the therapeutic relationship, we will work together to create an open and trusting alliance where healing can occur. I am inspired by and utilize methods from psychodynamic theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and feminist framework. I’m committed to cultural humility and value the diverse and intersectional identities of each of my clients. I am an LGBTQIA+ identifying and affirming therapist, this is a safe place for all. I enjoy working with clients in all walks of life and enjoy collaboratively tailoring treatment to meet specific needs. I’m curious to know more about you and the unique landscape of your inner world.
About Me
I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020, earning my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. Shortly after, I worked in various roles in Community Mental Health including inpatient counseling, outpatient functional support services, and most recently in a residential support setting. I completed the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s program at Plymouth State University in 2024, and while enrolled I completed my practicum and internship requirements with Women’s Counseling of Nashua. I am currently a master’s level clinician, working toward independent licensure. I love what I do and I’m grateful to be in this role! I enjoy spending my down time practicing yoga, participating in book clubs, and spending time outdoors kayaking, hiking, and camping.
