Insurance
Women’s Counseling of Nashua therapists are in-network with and accept the following insurances:
Please Note: We currently accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, and Tufts. Couples counseling is not covered by insurance.
We are able to provide out of network services for other insurance companies. Please call your insurance company and ask them if you have out of network benefits. If you do have out of network benefits, please ask the following questions:
- Do I have a deductible to meet first?
- Is my deductible separate from my in-network deductible? If so, how much is it?
- When does the policy renew (often policies renew on either January 1 of July 1 of each year)
We will be able to provide you with a receipt at the end of your session containing the necessary information you will need to be reimbursed by your insurance company. All fees, including co-payments and co-insurances, are due at the time of service. Please be advised that using your insurance may compromise your confidentiality, as your therapist must issue a diagnosis in order for your treatment to be covered by your insurance. Please discuss this with us prior to your first appointment if you have concerns.
Payment
Fees for Therapy Services
If paying privately, the fee for each session is $140 for individuals and $160 for couples / family sessions. We also have Associate level therapists who offer lower rates. Associate level therapists have completed their Master’s of Counseling programs and are awaiting full licensure. Their fees are $90 per session. Finally, Master’s of Counseling Interns are currently in the last year of their academic program and receive rigorous supervision from fully licensed therapists. Their fees are $50 per session. If you are interested in self-pay options, but the fees are not manageable for you, please call our business office (603)-821-0008 ext. 101 and a lower pay option may be available to you, depending on your financial circumstances.
Fees for Medication Management Services
If paying privately, the fee for an initial intake with one of our prescribers is $275. Follow up appointments are $150.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment is reserved just for you. We are not able to bill insurance for missed appointments. Women’s Counseling of Nashua, LLC, requires a 24 hour notification to cancel an appointment, so that we may offer that time to someone else. We charge $100 for a missed appointment or for a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice. We do keep a credit card on file and your card will be billed automatically should you miss an appointment.
