Adrienne Pitts, APRN
Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
Adrienne is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner and board licensed Certified Nurse Midwife. Adrienne graduated from Baylor University with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a specialty in nurse midwifery in 2014. Prior to advanced practice, Adrienne was a registered nurse caring for both adults and children since 2009. Adrienne has always had a passion for caring for and advocating for women, which is what lead her to an advanced practice degree in midwifery.
Since becoming a midwife, Adrienne has worked in Wellesley, MA and Nashua, NH in various obstetrical care settings. Adrienne has extensive experience caring for women throughout their life span. Her particular interests include pregnancy, postpartum, adjustment to motherhood, infertility and pregnancy loss.
Adrienne’s practice style is to create a partnership with women in order to develop an individualized treatment plan that works well for each woman’s unique needs. She is naturally caring and empathetic, and an excellent listener.
At Women’s Counseling of Nashua, Adrienne will provide medication management services for women aged 18 and over. At this time Adrienne is expanding her clinical interest areas to work with women who may be experiencing depression or anxiety, in addition to those coping with pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders or loss.
