    LCMHC

My name is Elizabeth and I am a Licensed clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in helping individuals find their strengths to overcome the challenges they are facing; be it depression, anxiety, past trauma as well as life transitions, aging, self- esteem, grief and loss. Uncertainty can cause us to lose hope in our confidence to handle what makes us uncomfortable. There is certainly a “new normal” in our world today and at times this can be overwhelming and stressful as we try to adjust to what we are not used to. I believe in working in unison to help you discover your strengths and abilities that once realized, will help you to create the life you want to live. Where hope is therein lies confidence to want to change what is not working in our lives.

    HOPE

Hope! When we are in the “muck and mire” of our difficulties, it is hard to see a future that gives us hope of having a life that is free of what weighs us down; but imagine building hope to see a future of possibilities and having more positive outcomes. We all want the best things to happen to us. Although we can’t always predict this will happen, we can certainly have more control over how we think and how we feel around these experiences. My hope is to work with you on seeing a future where you have the confidence to change the things that no longer serve you and live a life that is more peaceful.

    CONFIDENCE

Confidence! Throughout our lives our self-confidence will ebb and flow. Sometimes we see ourselves in not a good light and this can produce low self-esteem and depressed mood. When we can foster hope of seeing our lives moving in a more positive direction, our confidence grows. this helps us to feel good about ourselves and initiate the changes that will make us feel more complete, more whole and safe. Working together with you to help build your self-confidence is my goal. Understanding that this is a process and a journey to wellness.

    CHANGE

Change! Thinking about change can make us feel just a little uneasy. Sometimes it requires a different way of looking at things in order for us to see that change can create a more purposeful, joy filled life. I truly believe that change happens when we are able to see beyond our difficulties, honoring our past and looking forward to the hope of our future. My role is to help you to discover that you do have choices. Working together to create the life you want to live.
