Approach
Entering therapy requires immense courage, and engaging in ongoing self-reflection takes even more. As a therapist influenced by psychodynamic principles, I work with clients to explore both conscious and unconscious material, helping to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges. My goal is to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where you can express yourself freely and authentically.
It is a privilege to be a guide and companion on your journey toward greater self-awareness, clearing the obstacles that may stand in the way of your goals and purpose. In our work together, I will offer acceptance, compassion, and respect, meeting your therapeutic efforts with warmth and understanding.
Interests / Specialties
While each person’s healing journey is unique, I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, integrating mental, physical, and spiritual wellness to support your well-being. As a trained EMDR therapist, I specialize in somatic-based trauma treatment and find fulfillment in helping individuals heal from past wounds. I work with a wide range of clients, including (but not limited to) mothers, single parents, those navigating life transitions, and individuals dealing with trauma.
About Me
I hold a master’s degree in social work from the University of New England and am currently under supervision to obtain my social work license in New Hampshire. My clinical background includes working with pregnant and parenting women facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. I have also worked with young children and hold undergraduate degrees in early childhood education and psychology from Gordon College. While my professional journey has been deeply fulfilling, my most rewarding role has been mothering my three children. Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga, spending time in nature, and cherishing moments with friends and family.
