    WELCOME!

At the core of my work with clients is building an authentic, empowering relationship that provides a safe space for personal exploration, healing, and growth. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and tailor my work to meet the unique needs of each individual. Depending on your goals, we may focus on developing tools to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and overwhelm; exploring patterns rooted in family-of-origin experiences; strengthening self-compassion and self-care practices; or examining how relationships, culture, and life experiences shape your current challenges.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals navigating ADHD, folks with histories of trauma, parents experiencing stress and burnout, and artists seeking greater balance, self-care, and creative fulfillment. I also have a background in supporting folks who have experienced interpersonal violence as they process the impact of abusive or controlling relationships, rebuild a sense of safety and trust, strengthen personal boundaries, and reconnect with their own voice, identity, and sense of empowerment.  Together, we can explore the impact of past experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, build coping strategies, and cultivate a greater sense of resilience, empowerment, and connection.

    POSTPARTUM CARE

As a Perinatal Mental Health Certified clinician, I have specialized training in supporting individuals coping with infertility, pregnancy loss, a difficult pregnancy or childbirth experience, postpartum mood disorders, and the many emotional and relational adjustments that can accompany the transition to parenthood. These experiences can bring old wounds to the surface, challenge one’s sense of identity, and intensify existing relationship or family dynamics. Therapy can provide a space to process these challenges, deepen self-understanding, and reconnect with your strengths as you move forward.

    CREATIVE EXPRESSION

My specialized training also includes Expressive Arts Therapy, and I enjoy incorporating creative approaches into the therapeutic process when they resonate with a client’s interests and goals. Over the years, I have facilitated creative therapy groups and have found meaningful ways to integrate the arts into both in-person and telehealth sessions.

Creative interventions might include doodling while we talk, exploring emotions through visual art, reflecting on a favorite poem or song, creative writing, storytelling, movement, or rhythm-based activities. No artistic experience is required—these practices are not about creating something “good,” but about self-expression, exploration, and connection. I also welcome clients’ own creative ideas and interests.

    ABOUT ME

My undergraduate degree was in Holistic Psychology with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University. This program taught me to explore one’s mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health as an integrated system. Between college and grad school I had my two babes and worked as an advocate for survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual assault. In addition to this I have attended special trainings in trauma-informed care, LGBTQIA+ mental health, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and perinatal mood disorders. I returned to school to complete my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University while being a mom of two toddlers (and during a pandemic!). This had me redefining what self-care means to me and intentionally carving out time to play. As a life-long musical-theater nerd, you can often find me singing and dancing in my kitchen or performing in local theater. I also enjoy time outdoors, gardening, crafting, knitting, reading, and being goofy with my family!
