Sofia Jeanes
Senior Clinical Care Coordinator
My name is Sofia Jeanes, I am the Senior Clinical Care Coordinator and most importantly, I am so glad you’re here! I believe that seeking support for your mental health is one of the bravest things you can do and I feel honored to support you in the next steps of your journey. My role as Senior Clinical Care Coordinator is to be one of the first points of contact when you reach out and guide you through establishing with our practice. Once you reach out, we’ll work together to schedule a time to call for about 10 minutes so we can acquire some basic administrative information from you and chat a little bit more about what you’re going through. I recognize that sharing the things you’re seeking care is vulnerable and seek to hold safe nonjudgmental space for you. This conversation allows us to learn valuable things about you and your values to help match you with a therapist or medication provider who has experience supporting your concerns. I’ll also assist you with paperwork and scheduling as well as be available to you should you have any questions in the future! I am passionate about mental health advocacy, person centered care, and supporting those who are often supporters. You are deserving of hope, support and care.
I have a background in undergraduate studies and graduated with a B.A in Psychology, Communication Arts, and Theater Arts from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts in 2021. My passions have set me up to find deep value in supporting those living their stories while seeking synthesis. Before my role at WCON, I worked with mental health advocacy nonprofits in administrative and outreach roles, as a care giver for those with memory loss and related disorders, as an intensive paraprofessional, in global education and in the coffee industry! At the heart of all of my roles is my passion for people, cultivating spaces of individual development, hope and healing. In my free time you’re likely to find me outside in the warm weather, at the beach, trying new cuisines, exploring coffee shops and New England’s costal towns, curled up with a good book and a cat, or at a concert!
